in the bag ugly fabric quilt challenge

I joined the in the bag ugly fabric quilt challenege that Suzanne the Colorado Lady is hosting on her blog.  My swap partner is Stacy from Arizona.  I received her fabric this week, which included pepto-bismol pink solid, 80's black calico with roses, a dark tone on tone green and a terrible brown plaid.  I can't complain though because I sent Stacy some pretty bad fabric!  Sorry Stacy.  Well, I'm off to the drawing board to see what I can come up with.

Hoppy Spring

This is a spring wall hanging I made for my sister, Tonya. I cut the bunnies, flowers, etc out of one fabric and appliqued it on to the background fabric. I cut out the letters and flowers and did the same thing. I used fusible batting and machine quilted it. I added a few buttons. It turned out so cute! Enjoy sis!

Spring is here!

This is my latest wall hanging, it is for spring. These are three left over blocks from a quilt top I made. I couldn't just put them away back in the closet. The colors are so bright and cheery, you can almost here the birds chirping!

St Patty's Day wall hanging

This is a St Patty's Day wall hanging I made last year. I love the fabric because it has gold glitter on it. It's like a little leprechaun pranced across it!

It is my goal to have a wall hanging made for every holiday and season. Maybe I'll accomplish that someday.
